Gairloch
Gairloch is a town, civil parish as well as neighborhood on the shores of Loch Gairloch in Wester Ross, in the North-West Highlands of Scotland. A preferred tourist location in the summer season, Gairloch has a golf course, a museum, a number of hotels, a selection of stores, Chinese as well as fish and chip takeaways, a community centre, a leisure centre with sports facilities, a regional radio station, coastlines and nearby hills. Gairloch is among the primary towns on the North Coast 500 course. The parish of Gairloch crosses a much wider area, including the villages of Poolewe and Kinlochewe, as well as has a population of 950. The nearest railway station lies at Achnasheen, and also the nearest mainland flight terminal is in Inverness.
