Hinton St George
Hinton St George is a village and parish in Somerset, England, positioned 3 miles (4.8 km) outside Crewkerne, 10 miles (16.1 kilometres) south west of Yeovil in the South Somerset district. The village has a population of 442. It has a wide major street lined with hamstone cottages, some thatched. The town has a growing shop. The town does not rest on a major road, and also has a couple of holiday homes and also second houses. The parish became part of the numerous Crewkerne. Much of the advancement of the village took place under the lords Poulett expanding their large house as well as estate (Hinton House).
