Burnham-on-crouch
Burnham-on-Crouch is a town and civil parish in the Maldon District of Essex in the East of England. It pushes the north bank of the River Crouch. It is one of Britain's leading places for yachting. The civil church extends 5 miles (8 kilometres) eastern of the town to the mouth of the River Crouch. It consists of the districts of Creeksea and Ostend west of the community, Stoneyhills to the north as well as Dammer Wick, West Wick and also East Wick eastern of the town. Although the community has a population of little over 7,500, it is the major negotiation in the bigger Dengie peninsula location (population 20,000), implying it has facilities that are unusual in small towns, such as a movie theater, a laundrette, a post office, 22 licensed drinking establishments and three pharmacies.
