Burnham-on-Crouch is a town and civil parish in the Maldon Area of Essex in the East of England. It rests on the north bank of the River Crouch. It is among Britain's leading locations for yacht. It consists of the districts of Creeksea and Ostend west of the town, Stoneyhills to the north and also Dammer Wick, West Wick as well as East Wick east of the town. Although the community has a population of little over 7,500, it is the major settlement in the larger Dengie peninsula area (population 20,000), implying it has centers that are uncommon in towns, such as a cinema, a laundrette, a post office, 22 licensed drinking establishments as well as three drug stores.
