The installation of an aerial or satellite could take less than one hour to finish, dependent on your original cable connections and socket points.
Aerial and satellite installation costs can differ depending on the type of aerial or satellite dish you want, how easy it is to access your roof or loft, and where you live.
If you're simply buying and setting up an indoor aerial, this won't cost you more than about £10 a little more if you need additional cables. But if you're going to install an outdoor aerial, the common cost is about £180. This is because they're trickier to set up, so lots of people hire professionals to help them.

Knaresborough is a historical market town, spa town and civil parish in the Borough of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. Generally an area of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is situated on the River Nidd, 4 miles east from the centre of Harrogate. The town is cited in the Domesday Book of 1086 as 'Cenheard's fortress', with the name of the area going through a number of changes over the next few centuries. The growth of the town commenced around 1100, when it began to offer a market and appeal to traders to service the castle. The town was not granted a royal charter to affirm its status as a market town till 1310 by Edward II. A market continues to be held every Wednesday in the market square throughout the year. There many landmarks dispersed all over the town that draw in frequent visitors. Some examples include the remains of Knaresborough Castle, the House in the Rock, the railway viaduct over the River Nidd, and St. Robert's Cave. Knaresborough is also the home of 'Ye Oldest Chymist Shoppe' in England, which opened in 1720, a time in which there was much suspicion about such establishments. The town is also host to a variety of social and cultural attractions during the year. It has held the yearly Bed Race since 1966, which is organised by the Knaresborough Lions Club, and the Festival of Entertainment and Visual Arts (FEVA), an annual arts summer festival in the town centre, since 2001. There are 15 running clubs in the town, alongside a wine bar and numerous restaurants. For all of your home upgrades, make sure to make use of dependable professionals in Knaresborough to make certain of quality.

Satellite TV is a service that provides its customers with a wide range of TV channels by transmitting signals from a communications satellite. Users around the world can pick it up using a satellite dish mounted on their property and connected to their TV. Satellite TV is particularly useful for viewers who live out of aerial and cable TV range in remote areas.
The process you need to go through to install a TV aerial depends on the type of aerial you have. If you have an indoor aerial, it’s simple. Just plug the aerial into your TV and stand it up next to it. If the signal isn’t right, then try moving your aerial closer to a window or higher up. Make sure you rescan for channels every time you move it so you know if you’ve made an improvement. It’s also fairly easy to install a loft TV aerial – just take it up into your loft and position it in a convenient place. Again, experiment with angles and positions to ensure you get the best signal. Installing an outdoor TV aerial is a little trickier. Ideally, try to fix your aerial to a wall or chimney at a gable end – this will be much easier to access than a chimney in the middle of the roof. Follow the instructions that come with your aerial for mounting it – it’s usually best to lash your aerial on rather than use screws. If you’re not used to working at height or aren’t confident doing your own aerial installation work, it’s best to get in touch with a professional.
If your TV picture is pixelated, poor quality, or cutting out, there may be a fault with your aerial or the cables connecting it to your TV. Also your aerial may not be located in the correct place. An experienced aerial company can carry out a survey to discover the fault.
Freeview is only available through a TV aerial. You can’t access Freeview using the internet, so you’ll need to invest in a TV aerial if you haven’t got one already.
