Virginia Water is a commuter town or village in north Surrey, home to the Wentworth Estate and the Wentworth Club. The area occupies a large minority of the District of Runnymede. Its name is shown to the lake on its western boundary: Windsor Great Park. Virginia Water is close to the M25, M4 and M3 motorways. Heathrow Airport is seven miles to the north-east. A report from October 2015 detailed Virginia Water as the most pricey community (excepting individual London boroughs) for residential property in the UK, having a typical house rate going beyond £1m.
