Greenhithe (population 4,700) is a town in the District of Dartford in Kent, England. It is located east of Dartford, in the civil parish of Swanscombe and also Greenhithe. Greenhithe's economic situation no more depends upon river profession, this having been replaced by the M25 motorway, the brand-new High Speed 1 Ebbsfleet International station as well as the Bluewater complicated. The whole location is being redeveloped as part of the Thames Gateway regeneration. Its proponent councils and government enrollers hence intend to draw in even more wealth as well as earnings generation, particularly through the communication with the massive shopping center. This is mirrored in enhanced home appraisals, and a little greater investing than in 20th century overspill estates which had a tendency to line the tidewater. Its high street is much less significant a location than Bluewater, which is supplemented by a supermarket in the village. Greenhithe train station aside, there is little in the location besides real estate. The Thames Gateway project has seen development of household areas of the village such as Ingress Park and Waterstone Park, along with of industrial and service estates that nearly completely border the previous large district.
