Juniper Green
Juniper Green is a town on the borders of Edinburgh, Scotland, located 9 kilometres south-west of the city centre. It connects the city bypass, and overlaps the foothills of the Pentlands. It is bordered by Colinton to the east as well as Currie to the south-west. It centres on Lanark Road, the highway leading out south-west of Edinburgh right into the main Boundaries. The town bases on an elevated ridge over the Water of Leith to its south. Administratively, Juniper Green drops within the jurisdiction of the City of Edinburgh Council having been officially absorbed right into the city in 1920.
