Corwen
Corwen is a community, neighborhood and also electoral ward in the county of Denbighshire in Wales; it was formerly part of the region of Merioneth. Corwen stands on the banks of the River Dee below the Berwyn mountains. The town is positioned 10 miles (16 kilometres) west of Llangollen and 13 miles (21 km) south of Ruthin. At the 2001 Census, Corwen had a population of 2,398, lowering to 2,325 at the 2011 census. The neighborhood includes the villages of Carrog and Glyndyfrdwy.
