Camelford
Camelford is a community and also civil parish in north Cornwall, England, UK, situated in the River Camel valley northwest of Bodmin Moor. The town is approximately 10 miles (16 kilometres) north of Bodmin as well as is regulated by Camelford Town Council. [3] Lanteglos-by-Camelford is the clerical church in which the community is positioned (not to be confused with Lanteglos-by-Fowey). The ward population at the 2011 Census was 4,001. The Community population at the same census was 865 just. Camelford is in the North Cornwall parliamentary constituency represented by Scott Mann MP because 2015. Up until 1974, the community was the management headquarters of Camelford Rural District. Both primary commercial ventures in the area are the slate quarry at Delabole as well as the cheese manufacturing facility at Davidstow and there is a little industrial estate at Highfield. The A39 roadway (referred to as 'Atlantic Highway') passes through the town centre: a bypass has been talked about for years. Camelford Station, some distance from the community, closed in 1966; the website was consequently used as a biking museum.
