Appleby-in-westmorland
Appleby-in-Westmorland is a market community and also civil parish in the Eden area, in the administrative region of Cumbria, in North West England. The church had a populace of 3,048 in 2011. It hinges on a loophole of the River Eden in the historic region of Westmorland, of which it was the county town. Its name was simply Appleby until the local government changes of 1974. When a successor church was developed from the previous borough, the council altered its name to videotape that of the historic area.
