Amlwch
Amlwch is one of the most northerly community in Wales and is a neighborhood. It is situated on the north shore of the Isle of Anglesey, on the A5025 which links it to Holyhead and to Menai Bridge. As well as Amlwch community and Amlwch Port, other settlements within the neighborhood consist of Burwen, Porthllethog/Bull Bay and Pentrefelin. The community has a beach in Llaneilian, and it has significant seaside cliffs. Tourism is an essential element of the regional economy. At once it was a growing mining community that came to be the centre of a large international sell copper ore. The harbour inlet became a busy port and also substantial shipbuilding and also ship repair service centre, along with an embarkation point with boats sailing to the Isle of Guy and also to Liverpool. On 23 November 1981, the initial tornado of the record-breaking 1981 United Kingdom tornado episode, an F1/T2 tornado, passed through Amlwch. At the 2011 census the area had a population of 3,789.
