Rhosneigr
Rhosneigr is a village in the south-west of Anglesey, North Wales. It is located on the A4080 road some 10 km south-east of Holyhead, and also is on the Anglesey Coastal Path. From the clock at the centre of the village can be seen RAF Valley and Holyhead Mountain. The significant communities of Holyhead and Llangefni and also the city of Bangor are all within easy travelling distance. It is the most costly place to reside in Anglesey in terms of residence costs. The town is extremely anglicised. The town consists of four campers sites, three camp sites, vacation houses and also cottages, pubs, hotels, coffee shops, a new town hall, a chapel, household homes, an institution, a station house, a convenience store and also post office, a drug store and a fish as well as chip shop. It is served by Rhosneigr train station. Before the 2012 Anglesey selecting border changes an electoral ward in the very same name existed, electing a county councillor to the Isle of Anglesey County Council. This ward had a population taken at the 2011 census of 1,008. A by-election took place in November 2010 following the resignation of Independent councillor (as well as previous council leader) Phil Fowlie. The political election was won by an additional Independent, Richard Dew. Because the 1995 elections the ward had actually been represented by Independent councillors.
