Translated as 'lone ridge', Antrim is a town and civil parish in County Antrim in the northeast of Northern Ireland. It's situated on the banks of the Six Mile Water, which is half a mile from Lough Neagh. It's the county town of County Antrim and prior to this, was the administrative centre of Antrim Borough Council.
