Wylam
Wylam is a town in the region of Northumberland. It is located regarding 10 miles (16 kilometres) west of Newcastle upon Tyne. It is famous for the being the birthplace of George Stephenson, among the early train leaders. George Stephenson's Birth place, his home, can be found on the north bank of the Tyne 3/4 mile (1.2 km) east of the town centre. It is had by the National Trust yet is closed to the general public.
