Wotton-under-Edge is a market community within the Stroud district of Gloucestershire, England. Situated near the southern fringe of the Cotswolds, the Cotswold Way long-distance path passes through the community. Standing on the B4058, Wotton has to do with 5 miles (8.0 kilometres) from the M5 freeway. The closest railway station is Cam and Dursley, 7 miles (11 kilometres) away by road, on the Bristol to Birmingham line. The community is relatively well offered for a town of its size. It has a number of pubs and a hotel, and also a variety of takeaways and also dining establishments. It can be quite vibrant in the evening compared to many others of its dimension. It has numerous active social teams, such as Scouts, Guides, a horticulture club and the Wotton Lions.
