Blaydon-on-tyne
The town of Blaydon-on-Tyne is situated in the North East of England in the Metropolitan Borough of Gateshead. It was initially in County Durham. Referring to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent resident population of about 15,155, which is a sizeable increase from the around 14,500 citizens noted in the 2001 Census. Blaydon underwent an intensive programme of housing regeneration between 2009 and 2014.
