Double glazing is made up of two layers of glass, with a layer of argon gas in between. This type of glass can be used in Aluminium windows. The gas is a poor insulator, helping heat to stay in your home and making your windows more efficient. As well as trapping the argon gas, the second layer of glass reduces the amount of noise that enters your property, and helps to make your windows stronger and more secure.
Heriot
Heriot is a small town in the Moorfoot Hills southeast of Edinburgh, Scotland, within Eildon (part of the Scottish Boundaries council location, though traditionally in Midlothian). The town makes up some 150 dwellings, spread over a geographical location of around 50 square miles (130 km2), a lot of which is moorland. Linked to the rest of the globe mostly with the A7 road, Heriot had a train station from 1849 up until the branch line closures instigated by Beeching triggered the track to be boosted in the 1960s. The Scottish Parliament voted, in 2006, to restore the railway, however without a station at Heriot. The School (since Sept 2016) has 36 pupils. There are numerous area teams running in the town consisting of drama groups, WRI, a neighborhood choir as well as a martial arts club. Places near to Heriot consist of Borthwick, Carcant, Crichton, Fala, Stow of Wedale as well as Innerleithen.
