Rogart
Rogart is a tiny town in Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. The town was the residence of Major Andrew MacDonald, who combated in the French and also Indian War. It was initially a scattered crofting town, until the opening of the Rogart train station at Pittentrail 1 1/2 miles (2.4 kilometres) to the southeast. A more recent commercial village grew after the arrival of the railway in 1886, with the older town continuing to be. The town of Golspie is 9 miles (14 km) east of Rogart.
