Henlow
Henlow is a town and civil parish in the Central Bedfordshire area of the area of Bedfordshire, England concerning 10.75 miles (17 km) south-east of the county town of Bedford. The 2011 census provides the population as 2,253 for the town and 3,815 for the parish. The parish includes RAF Henlow which part of Henlow Camp located eastern of the A600 road. RAF Henlow is located close by, yet is nearer to the village of Stondon. The civilian negotiation of Henlow Camp has matured close to the RAF station. There is a health farm in Henlow at Henlow Grange, part of the Champneys team. There are 3 pubs. There are numerous concepts as to the beginning of the name Henlow. Henna hlaw is one, implying in old English "Hill of birds". Henlow was also in some cases utilized to show a burial place. The parish church, parts of which are 13th-century, is devoted to St Mary the Virgin.
