Burntisland
Burntisland is an imperial burgh as well as parish in Fife, Scotland, on the northern coast of the Firth of Forth. According to the 2011 census, the town has a population of 6,269. It is known locally for its acclaimed sandy beach, the 15th-century Rossend Castle, as well as the conventional summertime reasonable and Highland games day. To the north of the town a hill called The Binn is a spots of the Fife coast; a volcanic plug, it climbs 193 metres (632 ft) above water level.
