Shipston-on-stour
Shipston-on-Stour is a town as well as civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon district as well as is the primary settlement of the southern edge (estimate) of Warwickshire, England. The compactly created town as well as its affiliated land inhabit the left financial institution of the River Stour 9.3 miles (15 kilometres) SSE of Stratford-upon-Avon and 12.4 miles (20 km) south of Warwick. This location is sometimes labelled the Vale of the Red Horse, near Oxfordshire and also Gloucestershire. Shipston was in an exclave of (in the Oswaldslow Hundred of Worcestershire up until 1931, when it was transferred to Warwickshire.
