Kingston
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is a borough in southwest London, England. The main town is Kingston upon Thames and it contains Surbiton, Chessington, New Malden, Tolworth and part of Worcester Park. It's the oldest of the 4 Royal Boroughs in England. The other boroughs are Kensington and Chelsea and Greenwich also in London, and Windsor and Maidenhead. The borough covers an overall area of about 14.38 square miles.
In accordance with population estimates during the middle of 2014, Kingston upon Thames has a permanent population of about 169958 individuals. Kingston is 1 of five London Boroughs without any London Underground station. It has nine National Rail stations and 2 centrally located bus stations. In 2008, 64 bus routes served Kingston. In March 2011, the primary types of transport that residents utilised to travel to work were driving a car or van, used by 26.1 percent of all residents aged 16-74 and train, used by 7.1 per cent, and bus, minibus or coach, used by 7.1 per cent.
Kingston has many attractions in and near it, ranging from nature attractions and historical attractions to theme parks. This contains Richmond Park, that is among the world's biggest urban parks, and three times the size of Central Park in New York City.
