Wasps are a widespread pest in the UK. While single wasps can be treated by spraying with a wasp killer, nests, swarms or persistently visiting wasps can be problematic. An expert pest control company can remove a wasp infestation by utilising a controlled spraying of insecticide that the wasps will then spread themselves throughout the nest.

Wasps can be dangerous as they are capable of stinging several times. Wasps in nests can swarm when they feel threatened, releasing many wasps into the surrounding area at one time. If you suspect there may be a wasp nest in your garden, it is crucial to keep children and domestic pets away from it. If you cannot find the nest yourself, it may be necessary to call a pest control expert who'll be able to track it down.

There are a variety of methods that pest control companies can use to eliminate wasp nests. The most effective treatment will be different depending on the precise location of the nest and the amount of wasps. Usually, a powder insecticide is sprayed on the nest that will kill the wasps. However, for areas that are difficult to reach there are other options, such as high reach insecticide applicators. Wasp traps are also available if you experience a recurring wasp infestation in an area. These traps can help to decrease the amount of scavenging wasps by luring them to the traps.

Berwick-upon-tweed

Berwick-upon-Tweed is a town in the county of Northumberland. It's the northernmost town in England. It's located 2.5 miles (4 kilometres) to the south of the Scottish border, at the mouth of the River Tweed, on the east coast . It is 56 miles (90 kilometres) to the south east of Edinburgh, 65 miles (105 km) to the north of Newcastle upon Tyne and 345 miles (555 km) north of London. The 2011 UK Census recorded Berwick's population as 12,043. A civil parish and town council were established during 2008. Berwick's origins are as an Anglo-Saxon settlement through the period of the Kingdom of Northumbria, which was annexed by England in the 10th century. The area was, for more than four hundred years, central to historical border wars amongst the Kingdoms of England and Scotland, and many times possession of Berwick was swapped between the two kingdoms. The last time it changed hands was when England retook it in 1482. Berwick remains a traditional market town and also has some notable architectural features, particularly its medieval town walls, Elizabethan ramparts and Britain's oldest barracks buildings. Slightly more than 60 per cent of the population works in the service sector, such as shops, hotels and catering, financial services and most government activity, such as health care. About 13% is in manufacturing, 10 per cent in agriculture, and 8% in construction. Some current and recent Berwick economic activities include salmon fishing, shipbuilding, engineering, sawmilling, fertilizer production, malting and the manufacturing of tweed and hosiery. For all of your property upgrades, be certain that you choose vetted specialists in Berwick-upon-Tweed to ensure that you get a great quality service.

It is best to deal with a wasp nest previously in the year before numbers boost as well as the wasps become much more aggressive in late Summer season.
What does a wasp look like?

Wasps have a black as well as vivid yellow pattern on their abdomen. With a black head, thorax as well as six legs, a grown-up wasp is similar in dimension to an employee honey bee at about 12-15mm in size whereas queens are larger at around 20mm in size.
