About British Pest Control Association
The British Pest Control Association (BPCA) is a UK trade association that represents organisations who eradicate public health pests. It is a non-profit association which acts in the interests and on the behalf of their members and the pest management industry.

BPCA promotes the highest standards of professionalism within the pest control industry. All organisations that apply to join the Association have to prove their competence before BPCA accept their membership.

The Association has five aims:

• Provide a legislative environment conducive to the profitable operation of member companies’ businesses.

• Represent the interests of the UK public health pest control industry to Government, the general public and association industries.

• Represent a responsible industry committed to the control of public health pests, minimising risk to the general public, non-target animals and the environment.

• Encourage high standards of professionalism within the industry.

• Explain the role of the industry in today’s society and its benefits to the community.

BPCA acts in the interests of customers. They highlight the risks of inadequate pest control and provide pest advice and guidance documentation. BPCA also offer help on how to choose a good pest control professional. BPCA only permits contractors who can provide a consistent service to be members. By choosing a BPCA member, customers can ensure that they will complete the work to a high standard.
