Strathdon is an area in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is positioned in the strath of the River Don, 45 miles west of Aberdeen in the Highlands. The primary town in the strath is likewise called Strathdon, although it was initially called Invernochty due to its place at the convergence of the River Don and the Water of Nochty.
