Wemyss Bay
Wemyss Bay is a town on the shore of the Firth of Clyde in Inverclyde in the west main Lowlands of Scotland. It is in the traditional county of Renfrewshire. It is adjacent to Skelmorlie, North Ayrshire. The towns have constantly remained in separate areas, split by the Kelly Burn. Wemyss Bay is the port for ferryboats on the Sea Road to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. Guests from the island can attach to Glasgow by trains, which terminate in the village at the amazing Wemyss Bay train station, noted for its building high qualities and also regarded as one of Scotland's finest train structures. The port is extremely revealed, so in high winds the ferryboats must travel up river to Gourock to dock.
