Rogart
Rogart is a small village in Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. The town was the house of Major Andrew MacDonald, that fought in the French as well as Indian War. It was originally a spread crofting town, till the opening of the Rogart train station at Pittentrail 1 1/2 miles (2.4 km) to the southeast. A newer commercial village expanded after the arrival of the railway in 1886, with the older town staying. The town of Golspie is 9 miles (14 kilometres) eastern of Rogart.
