Most domestic solar thermal panels do not need planning permission and are covered by permitted development rights. There are restrictions on the size and location of these systems. If you live in a conservation area or listed building, or want to install a very large solar thermal system, check with your local authority to see if you will need planning permission.
Dulas
Dulas or City Dulas is a town in Anglesey, in north-west Wales. It is located on the A5025 road, near the coastline (Dulas Bay) at only 5 metres (16 feet) above water level. The town has never held the standing of a city and "City" is not a recognisable Welsh word, so its beginning is uncertain. It may be that the name came from an Anglicisation of Saith Ty, which is Welsh for "Seven Houses". There are two areas in Wales simply called 'City': City, Powys and City, Vale of Glamorgan.
