Wotton-under-Edge is a market town within the Stroud district of Gloucestershire, England. Located near the southerly fringe of the Cotswolds, the Cotswold Way long-distance path travels through the town. Depending on the B4058, Wotton has to do with 5 miles (8.0 kilometres) from the M5 freeway. The closest train station is Cam and Dursley, 7 miles (11 kilometres) away by road, on the Bristol to Birmingham line. The town is reasonably well served for a community of its dimension.
