Dunmow
Great Dunmow is a historical market community and civil parish in the Uttlesford district of Essex, England. It is located on the north of the A120 road, approximately midway between Bishop's Stortford as well as Braintree, 6 miles east of London Stansted Airport. Initially the site of a Roman negotiation on Stane Street, the town prospered throughout the Middle Ages. Numerous structures survive from this period, including a sixteenth-century city center. Dunmow implies "Meadow on capital". [4] The negotiation was otherwise referred to as Dunmow Magna, Much Dunmow, or a lot of generally Great Dunmow. Great Dunmow borders the previous estate of Easton Lodge in the neighbouring church of Little Easton, a lodge coming from the Maynard household. One of the most noteworthy participant, Frances Maynard, came to be the Countess of Warwick as well as later a girlfriend of King Edward VII. As the Prince of Wales he was reportedly a normal site visitor to the Estate, travelling from London on the train to Easton Lodge train station. The initials "CW" are visible on a variety of Victorian period homes in Great Dunmow. Referred To As Daisy Greville, Countess of Warwick she was a generous benefactor in the regional area. Since 2018, Robert Nicholson is Emeritus Mayor of Great Dunmow.
