Inverkeithing
Inverkeithing is a port community and church, in Fife, Scotland, on the Firth of Forth. According to 2016 population estimates, the community has a population of 4,890. Inverkeithing was offered royal burgh standing by King David I of Scotland (1124-- 53) in the 12th century. It is situated about 9 miles (15 km) north from Edinburgh Airport and about 4 miles from the centre of Dunfermline. Modern Inverkeithing is nearly contiguous with Rosyth and also Dalgety Bay. Inverkeithing is a developing town and also has lots of new housing sites, including one alongside the town's railway station.
