Whitchurch
Whitchurch is a town in Hampshire, England. It gets on the River Test, 13 miles (21 km) south of Newbury, Berkshire, 12 miles (19 kilometres) north of Winchester, 8 miles (13 km) east of Andover and 12 miles (19 kilometres) west of Basingstoke. Much of the community is a Sanctuary. Due to the amount of wildlife in as well as near the River Test, its program as well as financial institutions are designated as Site of Special Scientific Interest. The West of England Main Line connects the town's train station to London, and two highways bypass the town (the A34, a major north-- southern path, and the A303, a significant eastern-- west route). The population is 8,962. The town is a growing community with a mix of houses and also some light sector, and serves as a small traveler town to London (approximately 60 miles to the east) and to a lower degree Basingstoke and Andover. Newbury and Winchester, whilst nearby, can not be reached by rail without significant detour (considering that the closure of Whitchurch Community railway station in 1960) and so commuting to these locations is primarily by cars and truck. Lynch Hill Park, a small housing development, was used in a TV advert for Roysters crisps due to its "typical" American appearance. The centre of the town is a roundabout referred to as The Square.
