Garndolbenmaen
Garndolbenmaen, known informally as Garn, is a town in the county of Gwynedd, Wales. It lies near the A487, roughly 6 miles north west of Porthmadog, in the community of Dolbenmaen, which has a population of 1,300. The closest towns are Dolbenmaen and Bryncir. The Papur Bro, the regional Welsh language paper, is called Y Ffynnon (The Source/Spring). Blaen y Cae recording workshops are located in the town, where Pep Le Pew's album, Un tro yn y Gorllewin and the last album by Gwyneth Glyn, Wyneb Dros Dro, were recorded. The producer and artist Dyl Mei also lives in Garndolbenmaen. Around 50 pupils attend Ysgol Gynradd Garndolbenmaen, numerous pupils travel from neighboring towns including Pant Glas, Bryncir, Cwm Pennant and Golan.
