Lymm

Lymm is a large village and civil parish in Warrington, Cheshire in England. Lymm was an urban district of Cheshire from 1894 to 1974. The civil parish of Lymm integrates the hamlets of Booths Hill, Broomedge, Church Green, Deansgreen, Heatley, Heatley Heath, Little Heatley, Oughtrington, Reddish, Rushgreen and Statham. According to the 2011 Census, the village has a permanent population of roughly 12350 people. Within this population, 49.1 percent are male and 50.9 percent are female. Lymm village centre is a designated sanctuary, well known for its historic buildings, both listed and unlisted. These include the French-style terracotta previous town hall, which is currently unlisted, St. Peter's Church, Oughtrington Hall and Lodge, formerly owned by a cadet branch of the Leigh family and now Lymm High School, and Lymm Hall, an one-time Domville family home. Foxley Hall, the home of a cadet branch of the ancient Booth family, before ownership passed to the Carlisle family, is no longer standing, but fustian cutting cottages on Church Road and Arley Grove do survive. The Parish Church of St. Peter, Oughtrington is an example of Gothic Revival architecture. St. Mary's Church, Lymm, neighboring Lymm Dam was in a state of disrepair by the middle of the 1800s so the Leigh family commissioned the noted Newcastle designer John Dobson to rebuild it. The 1521 tower was retained and raised, though the requirement for further stonework rendered the tower being reconstructioned in 1887. Lymm Cross, commonly identified just as 'the Cross', is a Grade I listed structure. A 24-hour live webcam oversees the landmark. Additional cams are strategically situated around. For all of your home enhancements, be sure to find dependable professionals in Lymm to make certain of quality.

    FAQs

Do I Need to Replace My Commercial Air Con System?

If you want to guarantee the comfort of those inside your work environment, getting a commercial HVAC system should be a top priority. And if you already have one installed, knowing the best time to have it replaced rather than repaired will go a long way to save you some huge bucks. For instance, an air conditioning system that’s old and malfunctioning is best replaced due to the fact that all the components are probably weak and can only keep generating series of faults till it finally breaks down beyond repair. When evaluating your air conditioning unit, there are some factors that you’ll need to take into account to save yourself some money and headaches. Let’s take a look!

    • Age. If your commercial HVAC system is within 15 to 20 years old and starting to look like a giant rust attached to your building, then its probably time to get a replacement. Also when old, most commercial air con systems are usually much less efficient and will consume more energy which implies higher energy bills.
    • Wear and tear. If your system has experienced a significant amount of wear and tear, then its probably not heating or cooling as efficiently as it used to. Depending on the product’s quality as well as the level of maintenance many commercial HVAC system would be overdue for an upgrade by the time they’re about 15 years old.
    • Malfunctions. When it comes to heating and cooling systems, some issues are quite easy to fix or resolve while others ( such as a broken furnace fan or refrigerant problems) should be best left to the experts. However, if the malfunctions are becoming more often or serious enough, then you should probably consider getting an upgrade.
How Much Energy Does an Air Conditioner Use?

There are a wide range of ways in which having an answer to this question can help home and property owners. For instance, this can help you predict the cost before fitting a new unit. However, regardless of your purpose, this guide has been created to give you an idea of the energy usage that’s associated with different types of air conditioners. Let’s take a look!

First and foremost, it should be said that there’s no straightforward answer to this question as there a number of variables that can affect the energy efficiency of one’s air conditioning unit. As a result, the calculations for your personal space may vary from the estimates you’ll see on the internet. For example, the type of air conditioner you choose to install will be a key determinant of your system’s energy usage.

    • On the average, a central air conditioning system incorporates within the range of 3000 and 3500 watts per hour during the summer months. However, if you happen to operate the “fan only mode of your central air conditioning unit, the energy usage will most likely drop to about 750 watts per hour.
    • For a mid sized portable air conditioning unit, you can expect the system to consume an average of 2900 watts per hour. However, large units as you would have expected would exceed the energy usage of central air conditioning units, this can be up to 4100 watts per hour.
    • For a mid sized window air conditioning unit, this will consume about 900 watts per hour. While you can expect the smaller unit to use about 500 watts per hour and the larger ones to consume about 1440 watts per hour.
What is the Difference Between Commercial AC and Residential AC?

When it comes to air conditioning, there’s nothing like a one-size-fits-all approach as different buildings have different needs. As a result, there are various types of air conditioners to address unique building requirements. Having a full grasp of the differences between a commercial air conditioner and a residential air conditioner can go a long way to help you in choosing the most appropriate system for your building to ensure all occupants can enjoy the high air quality at the perfect temperature.

Now, while both commercial and residential HVAC systems serve the same purpose of heating, cooling as well as ventilating, they are largely varied in terms of the parts and mechanisms. This is due to the fact that tackling the need for comfort in a home or residential space is very different when compared to a work environment.

First and foremost, there’s usually a distinct physical difference between commercial and residential air conditioners. The residential ones are usually central systems which are linked to a series of ducts, with the evaporator and condenser in separate areas of the property. On the other hand, the commercial systems normally combines both heating and cooling units in one rooftop package that prevents the noise it produces from disturbing the work of the occupants. Having the package on the roof also goes a long way to help the companies free up some physical space.

The main difference between a commercial air conditioner and a residential air conditioner, however, is the amount of power which the system consumes to cool off a space. This is partly because a work environment usually takes up more space than residential environments. As a result, heating and cooling systems that are intended for use in commercial spaces are usually built to be a lot more powerful.

Why is Professional Air Conditioning Installation Important in a shop?

When it comes to the installation of air conditioning units, one of the greatest mistakes any shop owner can make is attempting to install the system by themselves. The good performance, efficiency as well as durability of a heating and cooling system starts right from the installation stage. Therefore, if not done right, you risk making such an expensive investment a total waste. Installing your air conditioning system by yourself may save you the cost of hiring a professional like many shop owners would rightly say, but one thing they often ignore is the fact is that a poorly installed air conditioning unit would actually be more of a liability than an asset. Not only can it consume more electricity than necessary implying higher energy bills, but it can also lead to frequent breakdowns meaning huge repair costs as well as significantly cutting short the lifespan of the unit in question. Hence, the importance of getting in touch with a reliable professional for help.

If you’re yet to be convinced of the importance of having your shop air conditioning system professionally installed, here are some points that will make you have a rethink.

    • Professionals are experienced and highly skilled. When it comes to the installation of heating and cooling systems in a work environment, there’s a need to call in a reliable professional. This is because AC system installation requires a well trained individual who knows just how best to ensure your AC system works efficiently and for a long period of time.
    • Professionals able to provide expert advice. Having a good experience in field and good knowledge of heating and cooling systems, professionals are able to provide helpful tips such as maintenance procedures so as to ensure you get to enjoy your investment for a prolonged period.
