Bewdley

Bewdley is a small waterfront community and civil parish in the Wyre Forest District of Worcestershire on the Shropshire boundary in England, along the Severn Valley 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Kidderminster as well as 22 miles (35 kilometres) southwest of Birmingham. [1] It rests on the River Severn, at the gateway of the Wyre Forest national nature reserve, and also at the time of the 2011 census had a population of 9,470. Bewdley is a preferred visitor location as well as is understood for the Bewdley Bridge developed by Thomas Telford. The main part of Bewdley town is positioned on the western bank of the River Severn, consisting of the primary road-- Load Street-- whose name originates from lode, an old word for ferryboat. Load Street is remarkable for its width: this is because it once also acted as the community's market area. The majority of Bewdley's shops and features are situated along Load Street, at the top of which exists St Anne's Church, constructed between 1745 and also 1748 by Doctor Thomas Woodward of Chipping Campden. Past the church, High Street leads off to the south towards Stourport along the B4194, a roadway understood locally as "the switchback" because of its numerous wavinesses. Unlike in several English towns, High Street is so called not due to its relevance, however due to its geographical placement 'high' over the river. On the other side of the church, Welch Gate (so called due to the fact that it once had a tollgate when traveling towards Wales) climbs up considerably up to the west, while Dowles Road, an extension of the B4194 leads northwest to Dowles and also in the direction of the Wyre Forest. To the northeast of the community is the woody hilltop of Wassel Wood in Trimpley, the southern terminus of Shatterford Hill. In the location between Stourport and also Bewdley there are several large lodge, among which Witley Court, Astley Hall as well as Swimming pool Residence are especially substantial.

    FAQs

Why is Professional Air Conditioning Installation Important in a shop?

When it comes to the installation of air conditioning units, one of the greatest mistakes any shop owner can make is attempting to install the system by themselves. The good performance, efficiency as well as durability of a heating and cooling system starts right from the installation stage. Therefore, if not done right, you risk making such an expensive investment a total waste. Installing your air conditioning system by yourself may save you the cost of hiring a professional like many shop owners would rightly say, but one thing they often ignore is the fact is that a poorly installed air conditioning unit would actually be more of a liability than an asset. Not only can it consume more electricity than necessary implying higher energy bills, but it can also lead to frequent breakdowns meaning huge repair costs as well as significantly cutting short the lifespan of the unit in question. Hence, the importance of getting in touch with a reliable professional for help.

If you’re yet to be convinced of the importance of having your shop air conditioning system professionally installed, here are some points that will make you have a rethink.

    • Professionals are experienced and highly skilled. When it comes to the installation of heating and cooling systems in a work environment, there’s a need to call in a reliable professional. This is because AC system installation requires a well trained individual who knows just how best to ensure your AC system works efficiently and for a long period of time.
    • Professionals able to provide expert advice. Having a good experience in field and good knowledge of heating and cooling systems, professionals are able to provide helpful tips such as maintenance procedures so as to ensure you get to enjoy your investment for a prolonged period.
Do I Need to Replace My Commercial Air Con System?

If you want to guarantee the comfort of those inside your work environment, getting a commercial HVAC system should be a top priority. And if you already have one installed, knowing the best time to have it replaced rather than repaired will go a long way to save you some huge bucks. For instance, an air conditioning system that’s old and malfunctioning is best replaced due to the fact that all the components are probably weak and can only keep generating series of faults till it finally breaks down beyond repair. When evaluating your air conditioning unit, there are some factors that you’ll need to take into account to save yourself some money and headaches. Let’s take a look!

    • Age. If your commercial HVAC system is within 15 to 20 years old and starting to look like a giant rust attached to your building, then its probably time to get a replacement. Also when old, most commercial air con systems are usually much less efficient and will consume more energy which implies higher energy bills.
    • Wear and tear. If your system has experienced a significant amount of wear and tear, then its probably not heating or cooling as efficiently as it used to. Depending on the product’s quality as well as the level of maintenance many commercial HVAC system would be overdue for an upgrade by the time they’re about 15 years old.
    • Malfunctions. When it comes to heating and cooling systems, some issues are quite easy to fix or resolve while others ( such as a broken furnace fan or refrigerant problems) should be best left to the experts. However, if the malfunctions are becoming more often or serious enough, then you should probably consider getting an upgrade.
When is the best time to install Air Conditioning?

It can be quite tricky knowing the right time to purchase and fit an air conditioning system, however if you get the timing right, this can go a long way to help you save both time and money. It’s important to note that different individuals usually have varying needs - like it it’s possible your existing unit just broke down during the summer months or you’re carrying out some renovations during spring.

In general, there’s the need to put a couple of factors into consideration in order to make sure you AC installation is a hassle free experience. The best time to install an air conditioner is actually before the construction of the house. Several high set homes do not possess the space to fit fully ducted air after building. And even if there’s space, accessing the ceiling and down into the floors can be pretty expensive and difficult.

Installing an air conditioning unit earlier would mean less plaster would be required later down the road. A good air conditioning installer or HVAC expert should also advice you on the best location for the unit in order to help you maximize cooling in the summer and heating in the winter. Most importantly, if your AC unit is built into your house’s design, you’ll be able to save more money in the long run. However, you may not be able to fit a unit when constructing or renovation, therefore choosing the right time would be a question of, when is the right time of the year.

Generally, choosing a month in the off-season is actually a much better time to fit an air conditioner, but ensure that it’s the right time. Overall, the best time for an air conditioning unit installation is autumn when the demand is at its lowest. Since retailers are usually overstocked with units after the summer months, you can get yourself some nice discounts

How Much Energy Does an Air Conditioner Use?

There are a wide range of ways in which having an answer to this question can help home and property owners. For instance, this can help you predict the cost before fitting a new unit. However, regardless of your purpose, this guide has been created to give you an idea of the energy usage that’s associated with different types of air conditioners. Let’s take a look!

First and foremost, it should be said that there’s no straightforward answer to this question as there a number of variables that can affect the energy efficiency of one’s air conditioning unit. As a result, the calculations for your personal space may vary from the estimates you’ll see on the internet. For example, the type of air conditioner you choose to install will be a key determinant of your system’s energy usage.

    • On the average, a central air conditioning system incorporates within the range of 3000 and 3500 watts per hour during the summer months. However, if you happen to operate the “fan only mode of your central air conditioning unit, the energy usage will most likely drop to about 750 watts per hour.
    • For a mid sized portable air conditioning unit, you can expect the system to consume an average of 2900 watts per hour. However, large units as you would have expected would exceed the energy usage of central air conditioning units, this can be up to 4100 watts per hour.
    • For a mid sized window air conditioning unit, this will consume about 900 watts per hour. While you can expect the smaller unit to use about 500 watts per hour and the larger ones to consume about 1440 watts per hour.
