Stocksfield
Stocksfield is a small, yet stretching commuter village positioned near the River Tyne, regarding 14 miles (23 kilometres) west of Newcastle upon Tyne in the southerly part of Northumberland, England. There are several smaller neighborhoods within the parish of Stocksfield, consisting of Branch End, New Ridley, Broomley, Hindley and also the Painshawfield Estate. Various other towns in Stocksfield's postal district include Bywell, Newton, Mickley, and Hedley on the Hill. Stocksfield remains in the legislative constituency of Hexham. At a local level it is regulated by Stocksfield Parish Council. On 11 January 2019 the name of the parish was formally transformed from "Broomley as well as Stocksfield" to Stocksfield, reflecting developments in the location as well as modifications in population for many years.
