Llandrindod Wells
Llandrindod Wells is a community as well as neighborhood in Powys, within the historical limits of Radnorshire, Wales. It functions as the seat of Powys County Council and thus the management centre of Powys. It was established as a health facility community in the 19th century, with a boom in the late 20th century as a centre of local government. Before the 1860s the site of the town was common land in Llanfihangel Cefn-llys parish. Llandrindod Wells is the 5th biggest town in Powys, as well as the biggest in Radnorshire. In a 2018 study carried out by Rightmove, Llandrindod was elected the Happiest Place in Wales. A study by the Royal Mail over the Easter 2018 period showed that Llandrindod had the highest on-line shopping prices for that duration in the whole of the nation.
