Kirriemuir
Kirriemuir, occasionally called Kirrie, is a burgh in Angus, Scotland. Its history gets to back to earliest recorded times, when it is believed to have been a major ecclesiastical centre. Later on it was understood witchcraft, as well as some older houses still include a "witches stane" to fend off bad. In the 19th century, it was an important centre of the hemp trade. The dramatist J. M. Barrie was born and also hidden here, as well as a statuary of Peter Pan stands in the town square.
