This depends on the amount of insulation already present in your property. However, adding insulation has been proven to improve the energy efficiency of your home and decrease your heating bills, this is more obvious in older properties or where single glazing is still in situ.
Carrbridge
Carrbridge is a village in Badenoch as well as Strathspey in the Scottish Highlands. It lies off the A9 on the A938, west of Skye of Curr, southeast of Tomatin, near Bogroy. It has the oldest rock bridge in the Highlands and the close-by ancient want woodland includes the Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Carrbridge has to do with 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Aviemore and creates an entrance to the Cairngorms National Forest. It was a very early centre for snowboarding in Scotland. In the 2001 census the village had a population of 708 people, with the majority used in tourism. Up until the 1980s bypass was built, the A9 ran straight via the town. Carrbridge is served by Carrbridge railway station on the Highland Main Line. Regional discussion still surges relating to the name Carrbridge itself, with some choosing to see it hyphenated to Carr-bridge. The word "Carr" has nothing to do with motorised transport yet is originated from the Old Norse word for boggy area.
