Taynuilt
Taynuilt is a big town in Argyll and Bute, Scotland situated at the western entrance to the narrow Pass of Brander. The town is positioned on the River Nant regarding a kilometre prior to the river streams into Loch Etive at Airds Bay. This is simply to the west of a constricting of the loch to about 200m. The larger River Awe passes about 1 km to the eastern of the village and also joins the loch simply to the eastern of the slim point. The West Highland Line and A85 road go through the town.
