Bo'ness
Bo'ness, officially called Borrowstounness, is a coastal parish in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. Before the local government reforms towards the end of the 20th century, it was part of the county of West Lothian. Lying on a hillside around the south bank of the Firth of Forth inside the Falkirk council area, it's 16.9 miles to the northwest of Edinburgh and 7 miles east of Falkirk. According to the 2001 Census, Bo'ness boasts a population of approximately 14,000, and estimates in 2008 have indicated that it has grown to about 14,490 residents.
