There are several different kinds of plastering. ‘Dot and dab’ refers to a base layer of plasterboard which is attached to a wall using ‘dabs’ of adhesive. ‘Floating’ is a technique where a backing or undercoat plaster is applied to walls. ‘Skimming’ or ‘reskimming’ refers to the very thin final decorative layer of plaster.
Dulas
Dulas or City Dulas is a village in Anglesey, in north-west Wales. It is located on the A5025 roadway, near the coastline (Dulas Bay) at just 5 metres (16 feet) above sea level. The town has never ever held the standing of a city as well as "City" is not a recognisable Welsh word, so its beginning is uncertain. It may be that the name came from an Anglicisation of Saith Ty, which is Welsh for "7 Houses". There are two places in Wales just called 'City': City, Powys as well as City, Vale of Glamorgan.
