Tayport
Tayport, likewise referred to as Ferry-Port on Craig, is a town as well as burgh, and parish, in the area of Fife, Scotland, functioning as a commuter community for Dundee. The adage of the Burgh is Te oportet alte ferri ("It is incumbent on you to lug on your own high"), a pun on Tayport at auld Tay Ferry. Tayport lies close to the north east suggestion of Fife. To the north it looks across the River Tay to Broughty Ferry and also Broughty Castle.
