Sandringham
Sandringham is a village and also civil church in the north of the English county of Norfolk. The village is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) southern of Dersingham, 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) north of King's Lynn and 60 km (37 mi) north-west of Norwich. The civil parish extends eastwards from Sandringham village to the shore of the Wash some 6 km (3.7 mi) far-off, and also consists of the villages of West Newton as well as Wolferton. It has a location of 41.91 km2 (16.18 sq mi) as well as in 2001 had a population of 402 in 176 homes. The population had enhanced to 437 at the 2011 Census. For the functions of local government, the church is in the area of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. Sandringham is best called the place of Sandringham House and also its estate, a favoured vacation home of Queen Elizabeth II and also several of her precursors. Close to Sandringham residence is the Royal Stud, a stud farm that houses a number of the royal steeds. The town was the birth place of Diana, Princess of Wales.
