Rogart
Rogart is a small town in Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. The village was the home of Major Andrew MacDonald, who dealt with in the French and also Indian War. It was initially a scattered crofting town, till the opening of the Rogart train station at Pittentrail 1 1/2 miles (2.4 kilometres) to the southeast. A newer commercial village expanded after the arrival of the railway in 1886, with the older town continuing to be. The village of Golspie is 9 miles (14 km) east of Rogart.
