Langport
Langport is a village as well as civil parish in Somerset, England, 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Somerton in the South Somerset district. The parish (which covers only part of the community) has a population of 1,081. Langport is contiguous with Huish Episcopi, a separate parish that includes much of the town's borders. Langport rests on the east bank of the River Parrett, listed below the factor where that river is signed up with by the River Yeo (Ivel).
