Micro CHP Boiler in Caernarfon

Because national energy costs continue to increase, it is now ever more important to think about how your home is powered. And Micro CHP units have proven popular, not only heating your property, but generating electrical power as well.

Micro CHP central heating boilers are operated by gas or LPG, whilst oil fired systems are now being looked at too. Regardless of all of these being fossil fuels, Micro CHP units are thought as low carbon dioxide technologies as they're a lot more efficient than using standard grid energy.

They look very similar to a standard household central heating boiler and can be hooked up to a wall or left freestanding. And essentially the main difference is they'll generate electrical power for your home too, supplying you with a two-for-one system.

There are many benefits to give Micro CHP boilers great consideration too. They're not only permitted to get feed-in tariff payments, but they're easy to install and even more efficient compared to most boilers in the UK.

Caernarfon

Caernarfon is a royal town, community, and port in Gwynedd, Wales, with a population of approximately 10,000. It is positioned on the A487 road, around the eastern shore of the Menai Strait, opposite the Isle of Anglesey. The city of Bangor is 8.6 miles (13.8 km) towards the north east, whilst Snowdonia borders Caernarfon towards the east and south-east. Carnarvon and Caernarvon are English spellings of the name which became old fashioned in 1926 and 1974, respectively. The villages of Bontnewydd and Caeathro are nearby. Abundant natural resources around the Menai Straits enabled humans to settle in prehistoric Britain. The Ordovices, a Celtic tribe, lived in the region through the period known as Roman Britain. The Roman fort Segontium was established about AD 80 to subjugate the Ordovices through the Roman conquest of Britain. The Romans occupied the area till the end of Roman rule in Britain in 382, after which Caernarfon became part of the Kingdom of Gwynedd. During the late eleventh century, William the Conqueror ordered the building of a motte-and-bailey castle at Caernarfon as part of the Norman invasion of Wales. He was unsuccessful, and Wales remained independent until around 1283. During the 13th century, Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, ruler of Gwynedd, refused to pay homage to Edward I of England, which led to the English conquest of Gwynedd. This was followed by the building of Caernarfon Castle, one of the largest and most imposing fortifications constructed by the English in Wales. The city has turned into a major tourist centre and seat of Gwynedd Council, with a busy harbour and marina. Caernarfon has expanded beyond its medieval walls and experienced heavy suburbanisation. Its population consists of the largest percentage of Welsh-speaking citizens anywhere in Wales. The castle and town walls are a part of a World Heritage Site described as the Castles and Town Walls of King Edward in Gwynedd.
