Planning permission is not normally needed for a loft conversion as they are covered by permitted development rights. A conversion company will tell you if you do and help you with this. For more information, see our article about planning permission.
Holmrook
Holmrook is a straight town in the English region of Cumbria. It lies along the A595 roadway on the west banks of the River Irt. The B5344 road connects it to Drigg, with its train station less than 2 miles to the west. Two miles north-east along the Irt valley is Irton Hall, a huge mostly 19th-century home which incorporates a 14th-century pele tower.
