Portree
Portree is the biggest town on, and capital of, the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. It is the area for the only senior high school on the island, Portree Senior high school. Public transport services are limited to buses. Portree has a harbour, fringed by cliffs, with a pier developed by Thomas Telford. Destinations in the community consist of the Aros centre which commemorates the island's Gaelic heritage. Further arts arrangement is made via arts organisation ATLAS Arts, a Creative Scotland regularly-funded organisation. The community also serves as a centre for visitors exploring the island. The Royal Hotel is the website of MacNab's Inn, the last meeting point of Vegetation MacDonald as well as Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1746. The community plays host to the Isle of Skye's shinty club, Skye Camanachd. They dip into Pairc nan Laoch over the town when traveling to Struan. Around 939 people (37.72% of the population) can speak Scottish Gaelic.
